There are two different configurations for the propulsion of the Patriot, they are as follows:

Single Stage

1 Aerotech M1419 RMS motor

Two Stage

1 Aerotech M1419 motor airstarting

4 Aerotech J350 RMS motors

2 seconds after 1st stage cutoff

An alluminum retention ring designed and manufactured by Michael Jackson of Covina California retains the four J 350 motors in place for clustered flight.
